Coaching FAQ template
A coaching FAQ answers the questions clients and leads ask most, before they have to ask.
What goes in it
It has five to eight questions written in their words, such as how check-ins work or what happens if they miss a week, each answered first in under 70 words with proof from your own coaching, and one next step at the end. Put it on your sales page and in your welcome pack.
Under 550 words total.

When to send it
When to send it
- When the same questions come up on every consult call.
- On a sales page or application form.
- Inside a new client's welcome pack.
Common mistakes
- Questions written in your words instead of theirs.
- Long answers that bury the answer.
- Promises your coaching does not keep.
Why it works
Nielsen Norman Group's FAQ research: write questions in the user's words, answer first, keep answers short, and group them once the list grows.

Let Fen write it
- 1
Bring the client's record
Their intake, check-ins and messages, pasted, dropped or imported into that client's record.
- 2
It can't make up a number
Every weight, date and figure Fen writes is checked against the client's own words, and a load or macro target is computed from your rules. One with no source is flagged, never guessed.
- 3
You decide what goes out
At default settings nothing reaches a client until you press. Email replies go out from your own Gmail when you press Approve and send.
Questions
- How many questions should a coaching FAQ have?
- Five to eight. Enough to cover what stops people starting, few enough that each one gets read.
- Where do the answers come from?
- From how you coach, as your notes and method record it. Fenlio does not invent a policy or a result.
