Coaching renewal offer template: three options
A renewal offer turns a client's next block into three clear options, smallest first.
What goes in it
Each option says who it suits, what is included and its price, and the options differ on what the client actually gets, such as check-in frequency or calls, not just length. Name the option most clients should choose and why, and list what sits outside every option.
Around 400 words.
- 1
Offer
What the coaching is called, from your notes or plainly descriptive.
- 2
Tiers
Three items, smallest first. Each item: the tier name and who it is for on the first line, then what is included, then the price only if your notes state one.
- 3
Most clients should start with
Which tier and why, for the audience you are writing for.
- 4
Not included
What sits outside every option.
When to send it
When to send it
- Two to four weeks before a client's package ends.
- When a client hits a goal and is ready for the next one.
- When you launch or reprice your coaching packages.
Common mistakes
- Options that differ only in weeks, which invites haggling over weeks.
- A deliberately weak option meant to steer the choice.
- Clever names that tell the client nothing about what they get.
Why it works
The classic 'decoy tier' result has replicated poorly, so a good tier structure differs on what the client actually gets rather than on a deliberately bad option.

Let Fen write it
- 1
Bring the client's record
Their intake, check-ins and messages, pasted, dropped or imported into that client's record.
- 2
It can't make up a number
Every weight, date and figure Fen writes is checked against the client's own words, and a load or macro target is computed from your rules. One with no source is flagged, never guessed.
- 3
You decide what goes out
At default settings nothing reaches a client until you press. Email replies go out from your own Gmail when you press Approve and send.
Questions
- When should I send a renewal offer?
- Two to four weeks before the package ends, ideally after a progress report has shown what they achieved.
- Should I recommend an option?
- Yes. Say which one most clients choose and why. It saves the client a decision.
